We teach lessons in a traditional private lesson format. Our basic philosophy of teaching is to provide a holistic approach to music learning, including good practice and listening habits, a strong understanding of music theory and styles, and emphasis on developing musical literacy and intelligence. | | | We encourage participation in recitals, auditions/festivals/competitions, and other events throughout the year. Teaching is individualized to meet the needs of students. Not all students are interested in participating in highly competitive events. All students are encouraged to participate as fully as possible in musical events, but not all are expected or required to perform competitively. We aim to provide opportunities for personal and musical growth in an encouraging environment. Lessons are available for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. We also welcome adults who would like to start at the beginning, resurrect long-lost skills, or continue their studies in piano. Lessons are available in 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute formats. See the tuition page for more information about private lessons. Registration You may register for lessons online (optional). Simply fill out the form and submit on the Registration Page. |
